A Little TWNY History

We are two local fourty-somethings who, by the end of the 90's, had organised many sports and social events for various work colleagues, charities and sports clubs. Whilst organising these events we had often had conversations along the lines of......... "Wouldn't it be great if you could hire one of those?" or "I wish there was someone in Guernsey that supplied that". So, as there wasn't, we decided the only thing to do was to form a company of our own - our aims being to take the hassle out of organising events and provide a range of services that are a little different and above all else FUN!........and so, The Whole Nine Yards was born.

In 2002 we became a limited company and expanded our portfolio a little further, as well as reinvesting in the existing equipment to enable us to offer a higher quality product. Our events are never cast in stone and we are always upgrading different aspects of the business. In 2007 we decided to upgrade the Fun Casino equipment as our homemade tables were starting to look a little tired. Although we replaced a lot of our tables we still designed them ourselves as off the shelf products just couldn't meet all of our requirements - try buying a Crown & Anchor table and you'll get the idea. This upgrade is an on-going project and probably always will be as we endeavour to offer our clients quality and variety. In 2009 we upgraded the karaoke and disco equipment with new amps and speakers of cutting edge design to reproduce the best sound possible for mobile events.

Our latest upgrade is the website you are currently reading. The previous site had been, I'm embarrassed to say, very neglected with information and photographs being shamefully out of date - hopefully we have gone some way to correcting this issue. I know, at least, that I no longer feel embarrassed having to direct the many enquiries we get to our previous, less than adequate, site.

Finally we would just like to say a big thank you to all our clients for the support you have given us over the years and all the very kind comments that we have received and we hope and look forward to being part of your social calendar for many more years to come.
